About Engelbergertal
The Engelbergertal is a 25 km long valley in central Switzerland . The valley extends over the three Swiss cantons of Obwalden , Nidwalden and Uri and is traversed by the Engelberger Aa . The actual beginning of the valley is at the yoke of the Surenen Pass at 2291 m above sea level. Maria Rickenbach MonasteryMaria Rickenbach Monastery is a Benedictine monastery of Religious Sisters. It has a surfaceara of 16 acres and is one of the famous tourist spot in this area.
