Clos de Vougeot, also known as Clos Vougeot, is a wall-enclosed vineyard, a clos, in the Burgundy wine region, and an Appellation d'origine contrôlée for red wine from this vineyard. It was named for the River Vouge, which is in fact only a stream separating the village Vougeot from Chambolle-Musigny. Abbaye Notre-Dame de CîteauxFounded in 1098 by Robert de Molesmes, the Abbey of Cîteaux is located in the Saône plain, in the heart of Burgundy. It is notable for being the original house of the Cistercian order. Today, it belongs to the Trappists. The abbey has about 35 members. The monks produce a cheese branded under the abbey's name, as well as caramels and honey-based candies.

Well of MosesThe Well of Moses is a monumental sculpture recognized as the masterpiece of the Dutch artist Claus Sluter, assisted by his nephew Claus de Werve. It was executed by Sluter and his workshop in 1395–1403 for the Carthusian monastery of Chartreuse de Champmol built as a burial site by the Burgundian Duke Philip the Bold just outside the Burgundian capital of Dijon, now in France.
