About Archipel des Sanguinaires
The Sanguinaires archipelago consists of four islets of dark red porphyry at the entrance to the Gulf of Ajaccio. They are called Mezu Mare, Cormoran , Cala d'Alga and Porri. To this must be added the bare rock U Sbiru located between the island of Porri and the island of Cormorants, and 13 m high. The Sanguinaires Islands lighthouse, dating from 1870, is built on the highest point of the Grande Sanguinaire. Pointe de la ParataA majestic ruined Genoese tower located in the commune of Ajaccio which was built in 1550-1551 by Giacomo Lombardo. The tower is 12 m in height and has a diameter of 7.3 m at the level of the roof platform. It contains two vaulted rooms, one above the other which all gave a picturesque view of the sea and the area. One of the historical monument which was standing majestically in the seashore.
Torra di a ParataThe Torra di a Parata is a ruined Genoese tower located in the commune of Ajaccio which was built in 1550-1551 by Giacomo Lombardo. It was one of a series of coastal defenses constructed by the Republic of Genoa between 1530 and 1620 to stem the attacks by Barbary pirates. It offers Panoramic coastline views and also it can be reached by a rocky nature trail.

The cathedral also houses a large pipe organ built in 1849 by Aristide Cavaillé-Coll and later restored and electrified by Joël Pétrique.
Maison BonaparteNAPOLEON BONAPARTE was born in this MAjestic castle in Ajaccio in 1769. Napoleon's birthplace, a large and simple residence, is now a museum devoted to the Bonaparte family in Corsica. The visit starts on the second floor with a historical evocation of Corsica in the 18th century and is followed by an introduction to members of the family. In 1967, the house was made into a museum and declared a national museum.
Fesch MuseumThe Fesch museum is located in Ajaccio, the birthplace of its founder, the cardinal Joseph Fesch, it is housed in the 19th-century Palais Fesch on Rue Cardinal Fesch. It has the largest collections of Italian paintings, with three departments being particularly well represented: the Italian Primitives, Roman Baroque painting, and Neapolitan Baroque painting.
