The lake Der-Chantecoq is a lake in the North East of France. It is located in the Grand Est region, on the border between the departments of Marne and Haute-Marne. It was designed to protect Paris from flooding and It is also the largest artificial lake in Europe. It has a large variety of flora and fauna surrounding this lake and you can spend some nice time on the banks of this reservoir.
