Museum of the Atlantic WallThe Atlantic Wall Museum is located in a 52-foot tall concrete tower in Ouistreham which served as a flak tower to protect the harbour and fire control for the batteries protecting the Orne estuary. The fortifications survive because they were built on land belonging to Prince Charles, Count of Flanders who decided that they should not be destroyed after the war but be kept as a national monument.
