Bathinda Fort- Qila MubarakThis is a historically important fort in the city of Bathinda built in 1200 AD. it is maintained by the Archaeological Survey of India. There are so many stories based on this fort. The architecture of this fort is so amazing and it attracts a lot of people everyday.
Aguada FortA well preserved 17th-century fort along with a lighthouse overlooking the Arabian sea. It was a reference point for the vessels coming from Europe at that time. A freshwater spring within the fort provided water supply to the ships that used to stop by. This is how the fort got its name: Aguada, meaning Water.
Ajatshatru FortAjatshatru Fort located in Rajgir was built by king Ajatshatru during his rule over the Magadha empire around 2500 years ago in 6th century BC. He was contemporary to Lord Buddha. It was built in a rectangular-shaped with four corners and each corner is covered with stone tower & walls is about 60 Meter long & 2 Meter broad square. Ajatshatru fort is regarded as one of the most ancient forts in India.
Akhnoor FortAkhnoor Fort is on the right bank of Chenab River (ancient name Asikni). Construction was started by Mian Tej Singh in 1762 CE and completed by his successor Raja Alum Singh in 1802. The fort has high fortification walls with bastions at regular intervals and is crowned with battlements. There are two-storeyed watch-towers at the corners, which are crowned by battlements and merlons. The fort has two parts which are bifurcated by a wall with a gate leading to the palace on the southern side.
Aligarh FortIt was built during the time of Ibrahim Lodi by Muhammad, son of Umar the governor of Kol who was the governor of this region during the time of Farrukh Siyar and Muhammad Shah, further rebuilt the fort. It is also called "Aligarh Qila". Most part of it is damaged and only a peripheral appearance of a fort is present. It is situated near the G T Road and consists of a regular polygon, surrounded by a very broad and deep ditch.

The Diwan Khana of the palace has very nice paintings in Kangra style . The paintings depict incidents from mythology, religion, history, and culture. They include Kamdev's arrows on Shiva, Kalia-Mardan which represent mythology whereas the paintings of Sikh-Mughal battles represent events of history.
