Ahilya Fort
Ahilya Fort, in the central Indian town of Maheshwar, sits high above the sacred river Narmada. Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar ruled here from 1765 to 1796 and built Ahilya Wada, her personal residences, offices, and darbaar audience hall, within the fort. In the year 2000, Prince Richard Holkar, her descendant and son of the last Maharaja of Indore, converted his home in Ahilya Wada into a guest residence, today known around the world as the Ahilya Fort Hotel.

Baija Taal

Bandhavgarh Fort
The Bandhavgarh Fort is situated in Bandhavgarh in Umaria district rising 811 meters above sea level at the centre of the Bandhavgarh National Park. Central Museum , Indore
Indore Museum, which is popularly known as Central Museum, is located near the General Post Office in Indore. The artifacts exhibited in the museum range from the prehistoric to the modern era. Museum has two galleries, out of which Gallery I houses all the artifacts from the prehistoric period of Madhya Pradesh ranging from 5,000 to 4,000 BC. There is a mugal garden in the backyard which has the royal tombs of the Scindias. District Museum- Vidisha
