Humayun’s TombThis tomb for the great Humayun was built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal.

Mausoleum of Ghiyasuddin TughlaqThe tomb of Ghiyath al-Din Tughluq, founder of the Tughluq dynasty in India. He was died in 1325, during collapse of a pavilion built in his honour.
