Bang Nam Phueng Floating MarketOne of the beautiful tourist and shopping center in the Samut Prakan province. The market is on a canal surrounded by a residential neighborhood. Products include commercial crops such as fruits and sweets, noodles, processed food, seashells, dried shrimp, pickled shrimp, desserts, grain cakes, and fruit.

Bhumibol 2 BridgeThe Bhumibol Bridge, also known as the Industrial Ring Road Bridge is part of the 13 km long Industrial Ring Road connecting southern Bangkok with Samut Prakan Province. The bridge crosses the Chao Phraya River twice, with two striking cable-stayed spans of lengths of 702 m and 582 m supported by two diamond-shaped pylons 173 m and 164 m high. Where the two spans meet, another road rises to join them at a free-flowing interchange suspended 50 meters above the ground.

H.T.M.S. Mae Klong, Royal Navy MuseumHTMS Maeklong was a Royal Thai Navy escort vessel and training ship, built at the Uraga Dock in Yokosuka, Japan. Her sister ship was HTMS Tachin. The Maeklong is preserved in concrete in Chulachomklao Fort in Phra Samut Chedi District, Samut Prakan Province, Thailand. The ship is named after a river, the Mae Klong.

Samut Prakan Crocodile Farm and ZooThe Crocodile Farm was built in 1950 as Thailand’s first crocodile farm. It is now the world’s largest crocodile farm. It is situated at Tambon Tai Ban, 3 kilometers from Samut Prakan town. The farm has over 60,000 crocodiles of different kinds in various pits. Daily shows feature catching crocodiles bare-handed and so may interesting things are happening there.

The Erawan MuseumErawan Museum Bangkok covers 3 levels representing the underworld, human earth, and heaven. Just about every part of the museum displays rare eastern antiques, religious iconography, and psychedelic décor. Wat Bang Phli Yai NaiWat Bang Phli Yai Nai is located on the banks of Khlong Samrong, Tambon Bang Phli Yai. The temple was formerly known as Wat Phlapphla Chai Chana Songkhram built to commemorate King Naresuan the Great’s victory over the Burmese. Later, a large bronze Buddha image of the Sukhothai style in the gesture of subduing Mara, with open eyes, was taken to be enshrined as the principal image of Phra Ubosot.
