Anakie Gorge Walk is a 11.3 kilometer loop trail located near Staughton Vale, Victoria, Australia that features a lake. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and nature trips and is accessible year-round. The Anakie Gorge is steep and rocky, making for picturesque views with dry forest and high escarpments.

Murray-Sunset National Park
A favorite for bushwalkers as the nearest semi-arid region to Melbourne. Hikes include circuits of Lake Crosbie and Lake Kenyon, and the three-day Sunset walking track. The special attraction here is the pink lakes. In late summer a red pigment, carotene, is secreted from the alga Dunaliella salina and gives a distinct pink color to the lake.

Shallow Inlet
A shallow, curving, 18 square kilometers tidal embayment with a single channel to the sea. The inlet has been identified by BirdLife International as an Important Bird Area (IBA) because it supports over 1% of the world populations of double-banded plovers and red-necked stints, and has supported the critically endangered orange-bellied parrot.
