ChaumontChaumont is a region of Neuchâtel, a city located in French-speaking Switzerland. The mountain of Chaumont is located above the city of Neuchâtel, at 1,087 meters above sea level. It offers a magnificent panoramic view of the city, the chain of the Alps as well as the lakes of Murten, Biel, and Neuchâtel. The main activities of Chaumont are tourism and agriculture. The locality is the terminus of the funicular line that leaves from La Coudre.
