Burg FalkensteinFalkenstein Castle is a German castle in the Harz mountains dating to the High Middle Ages period. It is located in the town of Falkenstein/Harz between Aschersleben and Harzgerode. It was built between 1120 and 1180 and has been modified frequently since then. Today the castle and its museum are one of the most popular destinations in the Harz mountains. It is part of the Romanesque Road. The castle has a falconry and a restaurant that offer traditional 'knightly' food.

Burg und Festung RegensteinRegenstein Castle in Blankenburg is one of the special sights in the Harz with impressively preserved rooms, worked in the rock, give an idea of how important and defensive Regenstein Castle once was. The castle is surrounded by remnants of a more recent fortress. The open-air museum makes various rooms accessible and tells the story of Regenstein through many different exhibits. At Easter, Whitsun, and in July, Regenstein Castle's past comes alive.

DrömlingThe Drömling is an approximately 340 km² and sparsely populated lowland area on the border between Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. The larger part of Saxony-Anhalt in the east was a nature park from 1990 and has been a national biosphere reserve since 2019. The former marshland was converted from a natural to a cultural landscape in the 18th century on the instructions of Frederick the Great.

Düben HeathThe Düben Heath Nature Park, which covers large parts of the self-titled Düben Heath, was the first nature park in Germany as a result of a citizens' initiative and not from a government office. Around 1990, to prevent further spread and development of mining in the neighborhood, the first citizens' initiatives were set up to protect and preserve nature in the area. The park is covered by a very varied, rolling heathland formed as a result of the Saale glaciation.

ElbauenparkThe Elbauenpark is a family and leisure park in the northeast of Magdeburg. The park area is about 100 hectares and consists of the parts Kleiner Anger and Großer Anger, which are separated by the busy Herrenkrugstraße but connected by a pedestrian bridge. The park has a total of four combined entrances and exits and three exits. According to Stern magazine, the Elbauenpark is the best leisure attraction in Saxony-Anhalt.

Elbe-Havel CanalElbe-Havel Canal is a navigable waterway in Germany, linking the Elbe and Havel rivers. Its eastern end joins the Plauensee, a lake on the Havel River, at Brandenburg, downstream from Berlin. This Canal is 56 km long and has three locks. With a depth of 2 meters, it can accommodate vessels of up to 1,000 tons.

Europa-RosariumThe Europa-Rosarium in Sangerhausen has the largest rose collection in the world. Today more than 8,600 rose species and rose varieties, over 57 rose classes - a total of around 80,000 rose bushes are planted on an area of 13 hectares. These include around 500 different species and forms of wild roses. The rosarium is operated by the GRF Foundation Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen.

Gartenreich Dessau WörlitzDessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm is a cultural landscape in Saxony-Anhalt that is significant throughout Europe and consists of several buildings and landscape parks based on the English model. The garden realm today covers an area of 142 km² along the Elbe in the Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 2000 . It was included in the Blue Book published in 2001.
