Corno alle ScaleThe Corno alle Scale is a mountain of ' Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, located in the municipality of land Lizzano in Belvedere, with the northern slope and the summit included entirely in' area of the metropolitan city of Bologna, of which it constitutes the highest altitude and part of the southern slope included in the municipality of San Marcello Piteglio in the province of Pistoia. The name derives from the singular shape of the northern wall, consisting of a series of tiered rocky cliffs.
Monte CimoneMount Cimone is the largest relief of the northern Apennines, with a height of 2,165 meters above sea level. It is a popular ski resort in the winter. There are 31 ski slopes with a total length of more than 50 km. It is also frequented by snowboarders as it houses a fairly large snow park in the Passo del Lupo area and two other smaller parks in the areas of Lake Ninfa and Polle. The mountain extends through the municipalities of Fiumalbo, Sestola, Fanano, and Riolunato.
