Jurong Bird ParkCURRENTLY CLOSED. Jurong Bird park is permanently closed and will be opened in another location. The world's largest bird park in terms of the number of birds, and second largest both in the number of bird species and land area. There are 5,000 birds of 400 species in Jurong Bird Park, of which 29 are of threatened species.
Night SafariWorld's first nocturnal zoo. Unlike traditional nocturnal houses, which reverse the day-night cycle of animals so they will be active by day, the Night Safari is an entire open-air zoo set in a humid tropical forest that is only open at night. The Night Safari currently houses over 900 animals representing over 100 species, of which 41% are threatened species.
River SafariA river-themed zoo and aquarium. It is the first of its kind in Asia and features freshwater exhibits and a river boat ride as its main highlights. One of the main attractions is a pair of male and female giant pandas – Kai Kai and Jia Jia – which are housed in a specially constructed climate-controlled enclosure which change throughout the four seasons emulating their original environment.
