About Vorarlberg
Vorarlberg is the westernmost federal state of Austria, sharing borders with the countries of Germany, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland and the Austrian federal-state of Tyrol. Vorarlberg also enjoys a small window on Lake Constance via the city of Bregenz. It is the richest and most well-to-do province of Austria outside Vienna. Alpenarena HochhäderichThe Alpenarena Hochhäderich is the ideal ski area for families. The wide alpine valley, at an altitude of between 1,300 and 1,600 metres, is Alpine pasture land in the summer. AlplochschluchtThe Alplochschlucht is a natural gorge in the field of Austrian city of Dornbirn in Vorarlberg . It was formed by a mountain breakthrough of the Dornbirner Ach and is still traversed by this. The gorge is passable on a wooden walkway for pedestrians. The Ebensand power plant with the Staufensee reservoir is located at the mouth of the Alploch Gorge . Then the Dornbirner Ach flows again through a striking gorge, the Rappenloch Gorge .

Angelika Kaufmann MuseumA majestic museum dedicated to the life and works of the Swiss painter Angelica Kauffman. It is housed in the "Kleberhaus", an old farmhouse in the traditional wooden style of the village, which dates back to 1556. The exhibition area is about 220 square meters large.

Bielerhöhe PassA high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.071m above the sea level, located in the Austrian Alps between the Bundesländer of Vorarlberg and Tyrol. The pass connects Montafon and the Paznaun valley. The pass is traversed by the Silvretta Hochalpenstraße High Alpine Road. Due to its exposed location the road is closed to normal traffic in winter at which time it can be reached only by cable car from Partenen.

BödeleThe Bödele is a local recreation area on the Losenpass on Vorarlberger Landesstraße 48 between the city of Dornbirn in the Vorarlberg Rhine Valley and the community of Schwarzenberg in the Bregenz Forest. It is mainly used as a local recreation area by the people of Dornbirn, which is why the people of Dornbirn call it “their” Bödele.

BraunarlspitzeThe Braunarlspitze is the highest peak in the northern half of the Lechquellen Mountains and is therefore particularly noticeable from the Bregenzerwald . It is the culmination point of a ridge several kilometers long from the Butzensattel in the east to the west. The Mellau mountain guide Mathias Wüstner made the first ascent in 1877 over the north ridge.

Bregenzer AcheThe Bregenzer Ach is an approximately 67 kilometer long tributary of Lake Constance in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg . With a catchment area of around 830 km², the river drains almost the entire area of the Bregenzerwald and, with an average water flow of 41 m³ / s, is the most important river in the northern part of the state. The Ach is named after the Vorarlberg state capital Bregenz , for which it represents the border to the neighboring communities Hard and Lauterach.

It is the local mountain of the Bregenzerwald community Alberschwende in the Bregenz district in Vorarlberg. The Brüggelekopf with a snack station in the area of the summit is a popular starting point for mountain hikes, for example over the high moor to the pilgrimage church in Bildstein , over Kaltenbrunnen to Egg or over the Geißkopf to Bödele.
