Oud-Amelisweerd is a country estate and knight 's court town near Bunnik in the Dutch province of Utrecht . Together with the coach house and the garden, it forms the Historic Buitenplaats Oud-Amelisweerd complex. Together with Nieuw-Amelisweerd it forms the Amelisweerd estates. It is one of the iconic attraction in this area and also there are so many things to see and do here.

Amsterdam-Rhine Canal

The Amsterdam–Rhine Canal is a canal in the Netherlands that was built to connect the port and capital city of Amsterdam to the main shipping artery of the Rhine. Its course follows a generally southeasterly direction as it goes through the city of Utrecht towards Wijk bij Duurstede where it intersects the Lek branch of the Rhine and then continues on to the river Waal near Tiel, with a branch, the Lek Canal, to the Lek near Nieuwegein.

Bornia is part of a nature reserve that consists of three parts; Heidestein , Bornia and Noordhout , which are located from west to east respectively. Together this forms an area of 642 ha, the largest continuous area of the Utrecht Landscape , of which Bornia is the largest with 289 ha. Bornia is located between Zeist , Austerlitz and Driebergen-Rijsenburg in the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug . The A12 forms the southern boundary for the nature reserve.

Hoog Beek en Royen

Hoog Beek en Rooyen is a country estate at Driebergseweg 1 in Zeist. The older estate Beek en Royen is diagonally opposite the villa. The simple, white country house of the country estate stands on a green hill in a park with a number of outbuildings. Behind the house is a tea cupola on a small hill. The grounds also include a gardener's house, playhouse, coach house and an aviary. The former orangery is on the other side of the Driebergseweg.

The Kozakput is a nature reserve near Zeist south of Soesterberg and northeast of Zeist in the province of Utrecht . The Kozakputt is located between Kamp van Zeist and the sports fields of Schaerweijde , with the A28 on the north side. This area of 91 hectares in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug , together with adjacent areas Krakeling and Witte Hull, forms an area of 123 hectares. The owner of the area, Het Utrechts Landschap , has mapped out a walking route.

Landgoed Beerschoten

Beerschoten is an estate in the Dutch municipality of De Bilt , located next to the N237 . Most of the current estate is managed by Het Utrechts Landschap . Various parts of the estate are national monuments. The estate consists mainly of unmixed forest. It has several walking routes , mainly through beech avenues and avenues of Douglas fir . In addition to the large avenues, there are also smaller paths through Berceaus. In addition to the walks, you can also visit a sculpture garden.

Landgoed Haarzuilens

Landgoed Linschoten

Landgoed Linschoten near the town of the same name in the province of Utrecht is the largest estate in the Randstad at around 450 hectares . It includes a country house with park, watercourses, monumental farms, grasslands and forests. There are many special plants to be found, such as wild garlic , arum , bird's milk and wild hyacinths . The estate is now a protected nature reserve in its entirety.

Natuurpark Bloeyendael

Nature Park Bloeyendael is a park and former estate in the Utrecht neighborhood of Rijnsweerd in the Oost district . The country estate was created between 1628 and 1660 by the renovation of the inn 'De Grote Biesbosch. The park is located southeast of Fort de Bilt between Waterlinieweg, Archimedeslaan and the provincial government building.

Oostbroek is a former abbey and manor in the current Dutch town of De Bilt . Gradually, the Oostbroek estate was created, one of the nature reserves managed by Het Utrechts Landschap. Estate Oostbroek also has a function as an ecological main structureconnecting the Utrechtse Heuvelrug and the Kromme Rijn area. Due to this feature, special species can be found in this area, especially birds.

The Panbos is a nature reserve on the north side of the Amersfoortseweg N237 west of Bosch en Duin on the edge of De Bilt . The Panbos, together with the Beerschoten and Houdringe estates, form a continuous green area with an area of approximately 378 hectares, isolated from the Utrecht Hill Ridge. The Panbos is located in the middle of a number of urban areas, consisting of De Bilt, Bosch and Duin en Zeist. On the north side it borders the golf course 'de Pan'.

Rhijnauwen is located on the right bank of the Kromme Rijn , approximately two kilometers west of the Utrecht town of Bunnik. The house is the center of a vast, much-visited estate , which can be walked along beautiful avenues. A youth hostel has been established in the country house since 1933 ; this is the oldest youth hostel in the Netherlands. Close to the youth hostel is Theehuis Rhijnauwen, one of the biggest attractions of the area.

Slot Zeist is a seventeenth-century castle in the Dutch municipality of Zeist that was built as a pleasure center by Willem Adriaan van Nassau . The castle was designed by architect Jacobus Roman . The castle is surrounded by an English landscape park and the Broeder- en Zusterplein.

Tienhovense Plassen

The Tienhovense Plassen is a wetland nature and recreation area in the Dutch municipality of Stichtse Vecht. Including the Eastern Binnenpolder of Tienhoven, the area covers more than 200 hectares. The area is located east of the ribbon village of Tienhoven with the Loosdrechtse Plassen on the north side. The area is part of the Natura 2000 area Oostelijke Vechtplassen and is managed by the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten.
