Agate HouseAgate House is a partially reconstructed Puebloan building in Petrified Forest National Park, built almost entirely of petrified wood. The eight-room pueblo has been dated to approximately the year 900 and occupied through 1200, of the Pueblo II and Pueblo III periods. The agatized wood was laid in a clay mortar, in lieu of the more usual sandstone-and-mortar masonry of the area.

Agathla PeakAgathla Peak, a 1,400 foot volvanic plug in the south of Monument Valley, Arizona. It consists of volcanic breccia cut by dikes of an unusual igneous rock called minette. It is one of many such volcanic diatremes that are found in Navajo country of northeast Arizona and northwest New Mexico. These rocks are part of the Navajo Volcanic Field, in the southern Colorado Plateau. Ages of these minettes and associated more unusual igneous rocks cluster near 25 million years.

Black Canyon LakeA beautiful lake located in Navajo. It was built along the Mogollon Rim in 1964 by the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide water recreation opportunities for the public. It has 78 acres, with a maximum depth of 60 feet and an average depth of 35 feet. It is one of the famous picnic location and also there are so many other water activities too.

Camel ButteCamel Butte is a peak in Arizona and has an elevation of 5617 feet. Camel Butte is situated nearby to The Tumb. it is one of Monument Valley's signature landmarks.

Ear of the WindEar of the Wind is a pothole natural arch eroded in DeChelly sandstone. It is one of several nice arches which are included in the commercial Monument Valley tours that go to the area south of the self-guided loop drive. This arch is within the boundaries of Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and a Navajo guide is required for any visitation.

Fool Hollow Lake Recreation AreaThis is a public lake located in Navajo County, Arizona, near the city of Show Low. The lake is operated by the Arizona State Parks Department, and consists of 150 acres, with an average depth of 23 feet together with a variety of fish species. Many campsites have a view of the 150 acre lake and wildlife islands.

Fort Apache Historical ParkThis is the place to experience Apache history and culture. Housed in a modern facility constructed to reflect a gowa, our traditional holy home, the cultural center and museum is committed to the celebration and perpetuation of the Apache heritage. The park interprets the rich and troubled history of relations between the Apache and other Native American tribes at the fort, which was converted into a Bureau of Indian Affairs boarding school after its military use ended.

Hangman TrailThe Hangman Trailhead & FR 86 provides access to this trail. This trail follows areas affected by the 2002 Rodeo-Chediski Fire.A very nice trail, at the beginning quite flowig, later steeper. In the first section there are two medium-sized ramps. Tehre are also so many things to see and do which is quiet interesting and also there are so many things to see also.

HoganA hogan is the primary, traditional dwelling of the Navajo people. Other traditional structures include the summer shelter, the underground home, and the sweat house. A hogan can be round, cone-shaped, multi-sided, or square; with or without internal posts; timber or stone walls and packed with earth in varying amounts or a bark roof for a summer house, with the door facing east to welcome the rising sun for wealth and good fortune.

Homolovi II Archaeological SiteHomol'ovi II is a 14th-century pueblo with over 700 rooms that is located along the Little Colorado River five miles north of the modern town of Winslow in northeastern ArizonaThe sites date from three main periods: AD 620-850, AD 1050-1225, and AD 1260-1400. During each of these periods there was a concentrated population of people living near the Little Colorado River.

Homolovi State ParkHomolovi State Park is located in the high desert of Northern Arizona a few miles from Winslow. The featured attraction of the Park includes the ruins of ancestral Anasazi/Hopi Villages. There is a year-round campground, restrooms with showers and an RV dump station.

Jackass CanyonThis is a slot canyon in the northern part of the Grand Canyon in Marble Canyon. It is one of the northernmost ways to access the river south of Lee's Ferry. Jackass Canyon is on the Navajo Reservation; you're supposed to obtain a permit to hike it.
