Dr. Nathan Thomas House.
Dr. Nathan Thomas House, has a storied past with rich cultural history. Built in 1857 as a private residence, it was eventually purchased by Dr. Nathan Thomas, a prominent African American doctor and businessman who used it to house himself and his family. From 1902 to 1920 the house served as the first hospital for African Americans in the county and was home to a thriving black-owned business district. There were also a number of social events held there throughout its history.

Henderson Castle
Henderson Castle is a fabulous architectural marvel from the 19th century. Built in 1895 by Frank Henderson, it was designed to reflect his love for Greek and Gothic Revival styles. The castle features 8 bedrooms, 4 fireplaces and 7 bathrooms adorned with stained glass windows, elaborate hand-carved woodwork and detailed plaster ceiling designs with cherubs and floral motifs. It also boasts the world's first residential intercom system installed back in 1912!
