AgumbeA settlement nestled in the thickly forested Malenadu region of the Western Ghats mountain range. Owing to its high rainfall, it is referred to as "The Cherrarapunji of the south". Linganamakki ReservoirSpread across the river Sharavathi, it is one of the major dams of Karnataka with a length of 2.4 kilometers. Connected by canals, the reservoir gets it's water from nearby Chakra and Savahaklu reservoirs and from rainfall in the region.

Mandagadde Bird SanctuaryOne of the 20 important sanctuaries in India. The sanctuary is situated on an island that spans an area of 1.14 acres and it is surrounded by forest and river Tunga. Over 5,000 birds here during the peak season from July to September, boating can be taken for closer viewing of the nesting birds.
