This is the highest peak in the Box Springs Mountains range, standing 3,083 ft. Most of the mountain is part of the Box Springs Mountain Reserve, a 1,155-acre park. Because the mountain is one of the more prominent features in the Inland Empire, the summit is used for numerous telecommunication towers, including transmission towers for the KOLA 99.9 and KGGI 99.1 radio stations.

The First Congregational Church of Riverside is a historic church at 3504 Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside, California. It was designed by Myron Hunt, and built in 1913. The Galleano Winery is the oldest winemaking operation in Riverside County. In 1933 Galleano, a winegrower from Italy, founded the winery following the repeal of prohibition. The Harada House is a historic house in Riverside, California. The house was the focus of a critical application of the California Alien Land Law of 1913, which prevented foreigners who were ineligible for citizenship from owning property. The house, created in 1884 and built upon by the Harada family, was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1990 and is currently overseen by the Museum of Riverside.

It was the first kiln-fired brick building built in Riverside County, and is the oldest non-adobe structure in the Inland Empire. Lake Evans is a manmade recreational lake in Kern County, California. It is the smaller of two lakes in the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area southwest of Bakersfield. The lake is primarily a sailing and fishing lake, with a speed limit of 5 miles per hour. It has two boat ramps. The lake is located on the lakebed of the former Buena Vista Lake.

Lake Mathews is a large reservoir in Riverside County, California, located in the Cajalco Canyon in the foothills of the Temescal Mountains. The reservoir is fenced and closed to all public access. The lake is near the Riverside community of Lake Hills, and is skirted by Cajalco Road on the south, El Sobrante Road on the north and east, and La Sierra Avenue on the west. La Sierra Avenue traverses the top of the west dike.

Lake Norconian is an artificial lake in Norco. It was created in the early 1920s as part of the Norconian Resort. This 60-acre lake was equipped with a boat house and pavilion. It was the site where a few 1930s movies were filmed.The lake and resort were acquired by the US Navy in 1941; the area is operated as Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona, part of the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
