Barker DamA water storage facility constructed by early cattlemen, including CO Barker, in 1900. It is a gathering place for desert wildlife, including many species of birds and Desert Bighorn Sheep. Native American petroglyphs can be seen on the rocks present in the trail to the dam.

Box Springs MountainThis is the highest peak in the Box Springs Mountains range, standing 3,083 ft. Most of the mountain is part of the Box Springs Mountain Reserve, a 1,155-acre park. Because the mountain is one of the more prominent features in the Inland Empire, the summit is used for numerous telecommunication towers, including transmission towers for the KOLA 99.9 and KGGI 99.1 radio stations.

This 300-acre park preserves some of the rapidly vanishing cultural landscape of the citrus industry and tells the story of this industry's role in the history and development of California. This Park reveals the cultural, political, and environmental aspects of the time when "Citrus was King" in California, especially the Navel orange from Riverside.

The park utilizes a medieval "castle" theme and includes attractions such as a miniature golf course, arcade, and 22 amusement rides including two roller coasters such as Merlin's Revenge, a junior rollercoaster, and Screamin' Demon, a spinning Wild Mouse rollercoaster.

Entomology MuseumEntomology Research Museum is the insect collection of the Department of Entomology of the University of California, Riverside. It contains approximately 4 million total insect specimens, over 3 million of which are pinned, roughly 400,000 mounted on slides, the remainder preserved in ethanol. It serves as a repository for specimens representing the local arthropod fauna, as well as sites worldwide.

First Congregational ChurchThe First Congregational Church of Riverside is a historic church at 3504 Mission Inn Avenue in Riverside, California. It was designed by Myron Hunt, and built in 1913. It was added to the National Register in 1997.It is a two-story Spanish Colonial Revival building with a Latin cross plan with a 125 feet Churrigueresque style corner tower.

Galleano WineryThe Galleano Winery is the oldest winemaking operation in Riverside County. In 1933 Galleano, a winegrower from Italy, founded the winery following the repeal of prohibition. This family winery, at one time part of the 35,000-acre Cucamonga Viticultural Area, is the last of its kind in Riverside County, a working museum for future generations.

Harada HouseThe Harada House is a historic house in Riverside, California. The house was the focus of a critical application of the California Alien Land Law of 1913, which prevented foreigners who were ineligible for citizenship from owning property. The house, created in 1884 and built upon by the Harada family, was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1990 and is currently overseen by the Museum of Riverside.

Hidden Valley Wildlife AreaHidden Valley Wildlife Area consists of 1500 scenic acres and has access to 25 miles of hiking and equestrian trails. Jensen Alvarado Historic RanchThe Jensen Alvarado Ranch is a historic park and museum in Jurupa Valley, California, USA, and is operated by the Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District. It was the first kiln-fired brick building built in Riverside County, and is the oldest non-adobe structure in the Inland Empire. The ranch and home are part of the 32 acres Jensen Alvarado Ranch Historic Park and Museum.

Lake EvansLake Evans is a manmade recreational lake in Kern County, California. It is the smaller of two lakes in the Buena Vista Aquatic Recreation Area southwest of Bakersfield. The lake is primarily a sailing and fishing lake, with a speed limit of 5 miles per hour. It has two boat ramps. The lake is located on the lakebed of the former Buena Vista Lake.

Lake MathewsLake Mathews is a large reservoir in Riverside County, California, located in the Cajalco Canyon in the foothills of the Temescal Mountains. The reservoir is fenced and closed to all public access. The lake is near the Riverside community of Lake Hills, and is skirted by Cajalco Road on the south, El Sobrante Road on the north and east, and La Sierra Avenue on the west. La Sierra Avenue traverses the top of the west dike.

Lake NorconianLake Norconian is an artificial lake in Norco. It was created in the early 1920s as part of the Norconian Resort. This 60-acre lake was equipped with a boat house and pavilion. It was the site where a few 1930s movies were filmed.The lake and resort were acquired by the US Navy in 1941; the area is operated as Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona, part of the Naval Surface Warfare Center.
