Monuments
Ancient Buddha stupa are present in this place. It is believed to be a place of Buddha religion and a shiddhardas living place. It is an important archeological place, called Boudha Gynana dantha puri, where the archeological department found some bricks, pots, nabed wear, terracotta articles, bangles, beads, stone and iron articles. It is elevated in the BC 261 after Kalinga battle by Ashoka Chakravarthi.

Lighthouses
A lighthouse, 31m high Hexagonal Masonry Tower red and white, is located near Thansahebpeta village. Kalingapatnam is known in the history as the Capital of Gang Dynasty who ruled the region, spread over the entire coastal belt from Godavari to Ganges (Hooghly) during 8th to 15th century. Kalingapatnam was a flourishing port and trade centre during the ancient times-Vessels from here sailed to Srilanka, Java, Sumatra and Singapore.

Mandasa Vasudeva Perumal Temple.

This is a historical temple located in the Srikakulam district. which is believed to have been constructed by Raja Harihara Mani Deo, one of the landlords of Mandasa.
