This is one of the prime attractions in the capital, Port Blair. Being one of the biggest and oldest in Asia, this structure has witnessed a lot of history. constructed by the colonial regime in1883.

Chidiya Tapu
Chidiya Tapu is a small village with lush green mangroves and tranquil islands. It is famous for bird watching, sunset view, panoramic scenic beauties, and many colors of oceanic view. The area is filled with around 46 species of birds namely, drongos, hanging parrot, scarlet minivet, emerald dove, long-tailed and red-breasted parakeets, white-bellied sea eagles, and grey-fronted and imperial green pigeons to name a few.

Corbyns Cove Beach
The beach is renowned for its glass-bottomed cruises, scuba diving and snorkeling, which is a perfect treat for adventure enthusiasts. During the Japanese occupation of Corbyn's Cove, pillboxes and bunkers were made which can be still seen on the beach. A major part of the beach was washed away and destroyed in the tsunami of 2004.

Munda Pahad Beach
The Munda Pahar Beach in Chidiyatapu is very close to nature as it gets from its meandering mangrove cover to the stunning sunsets. Munda Pahar Beach is a mind-blasting beach with an extensive collection of birds possessing over 46 varieties of endemic birds.

Ross Island, Port Blair
This Island the erstwhile capital for the most of Andaman Islands from 1858 until an earthquake in 1941. Netaji Subhash Chand Bose Island was also the base for the British Administrator of the penal colony in Port Blair.In 1941, the Japanese converted the site into POW camp, and built war installations, remnants of which can still be seen. It now lies deserted.

Viper Island
Viper Island is now a serene beautiful tourist destination and can be reached by harbor cruise originating from Aberdeen Jetty in Port Blair. This Island was part of the great struggle for Indian Independence and had witnessed the sufferings and enumerable sacrifices of freedom fighters involved in the Independence of India. This place is visited by number of tourists as it has multiple attractions with historical importance and also has mesmerizing picnic spots with natural environment.
