Government Freedom Struggle Museum, Meerut was established in 1997. The Museum’s main aim is the collection, preservation, documentation, and exhibition of cultural property and to make it available for educational activities as well as for the creation of awareness about our glorious past. Some postal stamps, pictures, postcards, memorial coins related to the events of 1857 and latter coins are also in the collection of the museum.
