To visit the tempel premises you have to get up really early because it can get super hot during the day. Plan at least 5 to 8 hours, if you want to see the majority of the ruins. You can buy your tickets early in the morning at the ticket counter and wait with all the other tourists for the sunrise. You know the drill. Angkor Wat is getting really croweded so please make sure you take your garbage with you when you leave. Drink enough water and bring sunscreen.
