This peaceful, historic monastery sits perched on a barren hill with the houses of the town nestled in around the base of the hill. A great view down to the monastery can be found from the hill behind that can be reached by walking out the back or by driving up the old highway. Inside the main prayer hall the original cave where the monk first meditated can be seen inside the building.
