Water from erattayar dam is taken to the Idukki reservoir using this four kilometer tunnel. Usually the water flow and the cave looks much more mysterious with the opening on tbe other side visible as a tiny point of light but since we were there at peak monsoon, the reservoir was almost full and had a totally different view.Sujith SVisisted on 04 Aug 2018
