Myanmar Visa on Arrival Requirements For Indian Citizens

Myanmar allows Indian citizens to obtain visas on arrival for tourism purposes. The visa is valid for 30 days and costs 50 USD(4,200 INR). The visa is arrival visa can only be obtained in the following airports:

  1. Yangon International Airport
  2. Mandalay International Airport
  3. Nay Pyi Taw International Airport

The Myanmar government updates the list of nationalities who could obtain visa or arrival. Please check the government website to make sure that the eligibility is not changed. The requirement for obtaining a visa on arrival are as follows:

  1. Have a valid passport not expiring for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Myanmar.
  2. Bring two recent (4cm x 6cm) color photos taken within the past six months., Duration of stay cannot be extended.
