The Roland Breccia is a natural gap, 40 meters wide and approximately 70 meters deep , opening into the cliffs located around the circumference of the Cirque de Gavarnie , in the Hautes-Pyrénées . Cirque de GavarnieThe Cirque de Gavarnie is one of nature’s most unique and spectacular creations. Located in the department of Hautes-Pyrénées in the Pyrénées National Park, it forms France’s southern border with Spain. This cirque is described as a rocky cliff face or wall that forms a curved amphitheater. The cirque is 800 m wide and about 3,000 m wide at the top. The rock walls that surround it are up to 1,500 metres above the floor of the Cirque.
Gavarnie FallsGavarnie Falls is a 422m waterfall at a glacial cirque in the Pyrenees making it the tallest falls in France. The falls are situated in the Cirque de Gavarnie, near the village Gavarnie in the Hautes-Pyrénées. It is fed by melting snow and a small glacier, located in Spain. This water seeps underground until it appears at the upper rim of the waterfall.

It is a protected area of the Pyrenees forming part of the Pyrenees National Park. There is also a cross-country ski area that is part of the Cauterets winter sports resort.

Lac d'ArtousteThe Lac d'Artouste is a natural lake of glacial origin in the Ossau valley located at 1,997 meters altitude. It borders on three of its four sides with the Pyrenees National Park. It receives water from the Arrémoulit stream a meandering stream coming from the peak of the Arrious lake. There is a dam set in this area and it is one of the famous natural settings here.
