The Protestant Gustav Adolf Stave Church is a stave church situated in Hahnenklee, in the Harz region, Germany. The church is a free copy of Borgund stave church in Norway, with adaptions to fulfill its role as the Hahnenklee parish church. Wurmberg Gondola LiftWurmberg Gondola Lift is the longest in Northern Germany, with a vertical height of 1,312 feet (400 m) and a length of 2.7 km. It starts from the Braunlage tourist resort to the top of the 3,185 feet (971 m) high Wurmberg mountain.
Unicorn CaveOne of the largest show caves in the West Harz. A karst cave developed in dolomite strata that is part of the Zechstein. It was made accessible to visitors by the construction of an entrance gallery. Since then 270 metres of the total length of 610 metres have been opened up as a show cave. The Unicorn Cave is one of the three information centres of the Harz - Brunswick Land - Eastphalia National Geopark.
