Pancha Rathas or "Five Chariots" is one of the monuments at Mahabalipuram. Each of the five chariots is carved over a single long stone. They are not temples as they were not consecrated because they were never completed.
The structures are named after the Pancha Pandavas and their wife Draupadi of Mahabharatha epic.
