About Villacher Alpenstraße
Villach Alpine Road is a very scenic journey located in the Austrian province of Carinthia, near the Italian and Slovenian borders. It has seven bends and 116 turns with a maximum slope gradient of 10%. It’s one of the scenic Austrian Alpine roads. This spectacular alpine road leading up to the Dobratsch is 16.5 km long, located just below the region’s highest peak, the famous Dobratsch. Dobratsch Nature ParkThe Dobratsch Nature Park is situated on the Villacher Alpe in Carinthia. It has long been one of the Austrian regions which has dedicated itself to soft tourism.
