About Hoher Ifen
A majestic 2,230 metre high mountain in the Allgäu Alps. Its sloping plateau, the steep rock walls and karst Gottesackerplateau make the Ifen is an unmistakable feature of the Kleinwalsertal mountain arena. On varied paths the round trip leads hikers from Schwarzwassertal to the summit plateau. In winter it forms the backdrop for a small ski area. It lies on the border between Germany and Austria.
