About Hochlantsch
The Hochlantsch is the highest mountain in the Graz Highlands, a subgroup of the Prealps East of the Mur according to the Alpine Club classification of the Eastern Alps. To the north the mountain drops steeply into the Lantschmauern. BärenschützklammThe Bärenschützklamm in the Austrian state of Styria is a water-bearing rocky gorge with limestone walls up to 300 m high. It was declared a natural monument in 1978. Since 1901, a climbing system made of wooden bridges and ladders has allowed people to climb through it and opened it up for tourism. The gorge is normally open from May up to and including October, entry is permitted daily from 7.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
MurinselThe Murinsel, is actually not an island at all, but an artificial floating platform in the middle of the Mur river. Mur Island is in the form of a giant sea shell and measures 47 m in length. Two footbridges connect it with both banks of the Mur. The center of the platform forms an amphitheatre.
