The Sardar Sarovar Dam is a gravity dam on the Narmada river near Navagam, Gujarat in India. For Indian states, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, and Rajasthan, receive water and electricity supplied from the dam. One of the 30 dams planned on river Narmada, Sardar Sarovar Dam is the largest structure to be built. It is one of the largest dams in the world. Statue of Unity (Sardar Vallabhai Patel's Statue)The statue of unity is a colossal statue of the Indian statesman and Independence activist Sardar Vallabhai Patel, Who was the first deputy prime minister and home minister of independent India. The project was first announced in 2010 and the construction of the statue started in October 2013 by Larsen & Toubro, who received the contract for ₹ 500 crores from Center Government. It was designed by Indian sculptor Ram V. Sutar and was inaugurated in 31st october 2018.

Kadia Dungar Buddhist CaveSeven rock-cut caves and monolithic lion pillars are present at Kadia Dungar, near Bharuch. The caves suggest that they were viharas. A Brick stupa was also found in the foothills. These caves were in use during 1st and 2nd century AD.
Ukai Damconstructed across the Tapi River, is the second-largest reservoir in Gujarat after the Sardar Sarovar. It is also known as Vallabh Sagar. Constructed in 1972, the dam is meant for irrigation, power generation, and flood control. Having a catchment area of about 62,255 km2 and a water spread of about 52,000 hectares, its capacity is almost the same as that of the Bhakra Nangal Dam.

One of the largest dam in the world. The statue of unity was situated nearby, facing to this dam. The view from the dam is very beautiful. They were planning to build a ropeway across the dam. The work was in the last stage. This dam is mainly used for electricity purpose.
