Rinpung Dzong towers over Paro city. The white fortress with its eloquent red decorations makes the near by building tiny. Inside the fortress itself, there are temples and government offices and court. A lot of monks too. The large courtyard inside, along with the temple in the middle is an architectural beauty. We were not able to get into this temple as it opens only in specific times. And while you are here, make sure that you have the Bhutan travel pass and necessary documents, otherwise entry will not be given. We left our documents so the entry was denied.
