About Pollux
Pollux is a mountain in the Pennine Alps on the border between Valais, Switzerland, and the Aosta Valley in Italy. It is the lower of a pair of twin peaks, the other being Castor, named after the Gemini twins of Roman mythology. Pollux' peak is at an elevation of 4,092 m. It is separated from Castor by a pass at 3,847 m. One of the adventurous trekking destinations in this area. Quintino Sella Refuge At FelikThe Quintino Sella refuge to Felik is a retreat located in the municipality of Gressoney-La-Trinité, in the valley of Lys, in the Pennine Alps at 3585 meters above sea level in the Monte Rosa massif. It is located on the edge of the Felik glacier. It has a capacity of 142 seats. The indicative opening goes from June to September and is often conditioned by the climatic characteristics. The most frequented access takes place from the Lys valley.
