Jardin Botanique de DeshaiesThe Deshaies Botanical Garden is a 7- hectare botanical garden located in Deshaies, Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe island. From 1979 to 1986 it was the home of the French comedian Coluche, which had previously been populated with rare plants by Guy Blandin. Currently, the botanical garden houses more than 1000 species distributed along 1.5 kilometers of trails with 15 different areas. Plage de Grande AnseThe Grand Anse Beach is one of the most important beaches of Guadeloupe, situated in the locality of Ziotte two kilometers north of the town of Deshaies.
