Plage de Cluny is a beautiful beach on the Caribbean Sea, located west of Sainte-Rose and east of Deshaies in Guadeloupe. The sandy beach, about km long separated into two separate units of 500 m each by an outcrop of rocks, is a nesting site for marine turtles as is the islet at Kahouanne - named after the turtle. Plage des AmandiersPlage des Amandiers is a golden sand beach of almost 1 kilometer located to the west of Sainte-Rose, in Guadeloupe. It is located between Pointe Madame and Pointe à Latanier. There you will find six sheltered huts for the picnic, a rather calm sea for swimming, and above all a sanitary block with showers to rinse off. In terms of security, the beach is slightly enclosed which limits the size of the waves during strong swells but be careful, there is no monitoring station.
Plage de Grande AnseThe Grand Anse Beach is one of the most important beaches of Guadeloupe, situated in the locality of Ziotte two kilometers north of the town of Deshaies. Over a kilometer long and in the shape of an arc stretching from Pointe le Breton in the north to the Pointe du Gros Morne in the south, it is the longest beach in the Guadeloupe archipelago. From 1979 to 1986 it was the home of the French comedian Coluche, which had previously been populated with rare plants by Guy Blandin. Currently, the botanical garden houses more than 1000 species distributed along 1.5 kilometers of trails with 15 different areas. This park offers a wide range of plants and a panoramic view of the Caribbean sea.
