About Pointe de la Grande Vigie
The Pointe de la Grande Vigie is the northernmost point of the Grande-Terre, in Guadeloupe, about six kilometers from Anse-Bertrand, common to which it is attached. Its limestone cliffs reach 80 meters in height and are reminiscent of those of Normandy or Brittany. Exposed to the wind and spray, the vegetation is poor, xerophilic, reminiscent of the Mediterranean. Plage des AmandiersPlage des Amandiers is a golden sand beach of almost 1 kilometer located to the west of Sainte-Rose, in Guadeloupe. It is located between Pointe Madame and Pointe à Latanier. There you will find six sheltered huts for the picnic, a rather calm sea for swimming, and above all a sanitary block with showers to rinse off. In terms of security, the beach is slightly enclosed which limits the size of the waves during strong swells but be careful, there is no monitoring station.
