BergiselThe Bergisel Ski Jump on famous Mt. Isel is an architectural highlight and a tourist attraction in the Alpine City. The ski jump stands proudly above the Olympic city of Innsbruck on the historic Bergisel. This hill has always been a place of great importance for Tyrol and especially for Innsbruck. The sports facility has twice been honoured with the task of hosting Olympic events: the Olympic flame burned on the Bergisel at the Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976.

On varied paths the round trip leads hikers from Schwarzwassertal to the summit plateau. In winter it forms the backdrop for a small ski area. It lies on the border between Germany and Austria. The summit is the highest point on the gently, tilted Ifen plateau.
