Heringsdorf PierA dock located in Heringsdorf, with 508 meters into the Baltic Sea from the island of Usedom. In 1891–1893, a wooden dock built in settlement of Heringsdorf, which was the longest pier in Europe. In 1958, the whole pier was burned down by a fire and rebuilt in 1995. The pier now has a Museum of the Concert Shell, cinema, café, restaurant, fitness center, tourist gift shops and a holiday village.
Karnin Lift BridgeHubbrücke Karnin in German, a railway bridge over the Peenestrom river in North Germany that built in 1933 and destroyed in 1945. It was part of the old Ducherow–Swinemünde railway. It is nominated for designation as a Historic Symbol of Engineering in Germany.
