De Bruuk is a nature reserve of approximately 100 ha between Breedeweg and De Horst in the municipality of Berg en Dal on the border with Germany .De Bruuk is a swamp area that is fed by seepage water from the surrounding hills. Hernen Castle, locally known as Kasteel Hernen, lies in the village with the same name, in the Gelderland province in the Netherlands. It probably originated around 1350, and then consisted of only one residential tower (keep). Later it was repeatedly expanded, with the former courtyard increasingly being filled. The residential tower collapsed in the 18th century.

The Crossing , also called City Bridge, is a bridge for car traffic over the Waal, in Nijmegen. The road over the bridge has been named General James Gavinsingel since 2016. The river crossing was opened in November 2013 and is located west of the two existing Nijmegen bridges. On the south side, the bridge connects to the Verlengde Energieweg, on the north side to the Graaf Alardsingel.

The Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery and Memorial is located about three kilometres north of the village of Groesbeek, Netherlands. The cemetery contains 2,338 Canadian soldiers of World War II.
