Abbey Park

The park has lovely mature trees including a tree carving sculpture and plenty of open grass area. There is a children's play area, a children's water play area and also a skate park.

Aden Country Park
Aden Country Park has 230 acres full of things to see and do, from old buildings to explore to a farming museum to discover. There is something for everyone, you can even bring the family pooch. It is home to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, forest walks and a ruined country house. Every year it hosts a pipe band contest which attracts bagpipe bands from around Scotland.

Alexandra Gardens is a pretty public garden near the River Thames in Windsor with seating, a bandstand and plenty of grassed areas perfect for picnics. There are lovely big trees and lovely colourful garden displays at various times during the year. The park is fenced on almost all sides so easy to contain small children and let them run and explore at a distance. There is a small fun fair that caters for children and I felt the rides were very reasonably priced.
