AmstelparkThe Amstelpark is a park in Amsterdam-Zuid. The park includes a labyrinth, a café, a restaurant, two galleries, an orangery, a petting zoo and a mini-golf course. It also has a variety of plant species from around the world and also the Amstel train, which runs through the Rosarium, the rhododendron valley and the Riekermolen. There is also a Japanese garden too.
Het Amsterdamse BosAmsterdamse Bos is Amsterdam’s largest park and recreational area. The lush forests and grassy meadows offer plenty of space for a relaxing picnic with family or friends, and the park is crossed by many kilometres of well-marked walking and cycling paths. The park was mainly built in the early 1930s, mostly by the unemployment relief. Annually, almost 4.5 million people visit the park, which has a size of 1,000 hectaresand is approximately three times the size of Central Park in New York City.
